How we handle the information you share with us. Last updated: October 2026.
Parichaya is a non-governmental organisation based in Sambalpur, Odisha. We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to respond to you or to help a person in need. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Only authorised Parichaya team members can see the information you submit. We may share details of a reported person with the police, hospitals, shelters or government authorities when this is necessary to protect that person, or where the law requires it. Your own name and phone number are not shared except in those situations.
Our forms are handled by trusted third-party services: the Report a Person in Need form runs on Google Forms, and the contact form runs on Formspree. Our fonts and icons are loaded from Google Fonts and cdnjs. These services have their own privacy policies. This website does not use advertising trackers.
Photographs on this website are shared to show the reality of our work and to build trust with donors and supporters. If you or someone you know appears in a photograph and would like it removed, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
We keep messages and case reports for as long as they are needed to respond, to complete the case, and to maintain our records. You can ask us to delete your personal details at any time.
You may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to parichayasambalpur@gmail.com or call +91 94381 88200.
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
